The applied service braking pressure is adjusted by the II36827 - BR4466 Load Sensing Valve (Mech) in response to the weight placed on the axles of the vehicle. The load placed on the axles is "sensed" by the air suspension load sensing valve, which calculates its braking ratio using the pressure in the air suspension bags.
